Prairie Dog Hunt

A prairie dog hunt for two people in Northeastern Colorado (on the plains near Sterling) with board member Cliff Woerner, in June 2018 for two days. Dates to be arranged with Cliff. You will be picked up at the Denver Airport and taken to headquarters motel in Sterling, CO on a Friday and begin hunting prairie dogs on Saturday morning, break for lunch and resume in the afternoon. Sunday morning hunt until noon, then back to the airport to return home.

Hunt includes two nights in motel (double occupancy), two breakfast/lunches/dinners, and transportation to and from airport. It does not include ammunition or Colorado state hunting license, which may be purchased online before arrival.

Cliff’s wife, Gail, is from this area and will be arranging ranches to hunt with her friends and neighbors. We have done this hunt numerous times and it is a blast! We suggest a flat shooting rifle caliber. Shots are 200+ yards most of the time. We suggest 200 rounds of ammunition. Cliff will be driving up and will gladly transport weapons and ammunition if you prefer not to endure the hassle of the airlines. If you wish to drive, we will provide directions.

Travel to Spain for this superb 2-day 1x1 guided best available Pyrenean chamois hunt for one hunter and one observer, donated by ATP HUNT. Method of take is rifle. Schedule hunt with outfitter for open dates October 15 2018-January 31, 2019  or March1 -May 15 - 2019, only. No alternate dates available. Hunt can be upgraded to include additional species; see outfitter for details. Included are accommodations, meals, guided service, trophy fee for best available chamois and field prep. Additional hunters cost $590/day plus another trophy fee; observers $290/day. Not included are any before/after hunt expenses, licenses ($350), VAT 21% of the donor value, dipping, packaging/shipping and gratuities. Well known professional hunter and photographer Michael Fell will be hosting an event along with other wildlife photographers and videographers. Their art work is world renowned and stunning!

Raising funds for Texas Parks and Wildlife and the International Wildlife Crimestoppers. As a hunting community, we need to gather and show our support!
